I'm interested in anybody's opion on what is the best drum machine software around for creating drum loops for my recordings. Plz don't tell me cubase or sonar or whatever, I want something affordable ?
I want software that is particularly good for metal; during my research I came across the Drumkit From Hell which is an expansion of the EZ Drummer range, has anyone come across or used this software?
Thanks

Yup. EZDrummer is great - It's my go to these days and I've bought most of the expansion packs over the last nine months or so (aside from the "Claustraphobic" dance oriented one and the Jazz ...yet).
DFH is a good hard rock/metal kit and the EZD version includes lots of rock/metal drum patterns. It's actually been around for a while now in various formats for different software drum machines and sample formats - the fact that it's been around so long tells you something I suppose.

O ok cool thanks, but is there any way i can buy it in SA?? and how much does it cost generally? I saw on amazon that its going for $99 with drumkit from hell at about $65. But since amazon doesnt deliver here anymore I'm a bit stuck.

I bought them directly from www.toontrack.com, which is more expensive at 119 Euros and 59 Euros, but no extra shipping charges and you can choose to wait for a boxed version or download.
