  • So....any G.A.S attacks lately?

The very same. It's a great guitar, and I _think_ this Fishman isys+ will fit without too much chopping. Will post pics when I install it.

The set is absolutely stunning, with awesome figure...
This sounds interesting... what tuning are you looking at for the 'harp' strings?
      Jaaaa,

      I want something like this:

      to go with my plexi:

I bought myself a Cort AD810E on Saturday. Was just looking at it on the net and decided to take a closer look (and feel) which is uaually a big mistake once its in your hands. https://www.bothnermusic.co.za/en/acoustic-guitars-cort-ad810e-op-ns
A new acoustic has never proven to be a mistake for me. All great decisions
I've been thinking about getting an 8 string.
Just found out that Nano Pog costs R3.4K... on 'sale' ☹
Yep, for a decent acoustic to replace the one I sold a long time ago as well as a particular Strat in my LGS that's a honey - and overlooked for years because of the colour. But mostly just need to finish off my pedalboard build, and instead of GAS it's more pedal acquisition syndrome temptation - particularly the Strymon El Capistan.

Or have all the itches been thoroughly scratched?

I've got my eyes peeled for a few bass pedals (a MXR envelope filter & a Zoom B2) and some fresh bass strings. There is a tiny chance of a regular pub gig, so in hope, I'm starting to get my gear together.

As feature rich as the Boss GT-6B is, it be far more pedal than I can use :-[ (and more than I want to carry around!) - so that's probably going to find a new home soon.

I do have a bunch of stalled projects to work through - a Hofner 189 bass that needs a load of tlc, a bunch of pedals from PaulE that I've barely gotten started on and the poor old pimpocaster has been rather neglected...tsk-tsk.

Whats your GAS situation looking like?

Got a Kemper so.............. no Gas No More ?

Ive just got into J Rockett audio's stuff - man, oh, man - never heard such quality. The Tim Pierce Signature Overdrive is a front end drive & boost - emulating a Naylor preamp. The Dude Overdrive is their dumble type offering, and its so freaking articulate, punchy. In 20 years of playing Ive never heard stuff like this. The 2 drives gained stacked into each other - oh my! Ive also added the Line6 M5 which is great for those 1 off sounds (Trem, Vibe, Swells, Deley/Verb), as well as the TC Flashback x4, the Ditto x2 and the new Digitech Trio.

That's not a bad price considering the R/$ and shipping etc.
Only thing I'm gassing for very very hard is a Jazzmaster. ☹
                        alas, no moolas.
