Ok, all jokes finished! I am fifty-two years old and played in a band all my life, called the Gibsons. I moved to another town here on the West Coast called Lutzville and there are no bands here. So I am out of music for 9 years now! At the moment I'm building my own Fender Telecaster and will be asking a lot of questions on this forum. I still got my Gibson Les Paul Standard, but want this Tele and learn to do Hybrid pickin' country style. Everyone, go well and we'll talk.

There's been quite a few tele builds on GFSA over the years - alas some of those builders are scarce around here currently :'(

If you dig around you'll find :

Rikus did a stunning 'La Carbonita' build - very high-end and detailed.
Manfred Klose documented at least two of his awesome tele builds
Wizard has also done a tele and a 'violincaster' (this one I'm quite fond of)

Those are the tele ones I remember, there are others who have also documented builds - lapdawg springs to mind (insane detail in his LP & 'firebird' builds).
