Nice setup!
Are you going octave up on the guitar channel or just relying on the fuzz to thin it out?
I loved my Curbow, they're really great players, except for the fact that they don't sit on the knee well. If that's the old mighty mite pickup, I have a Bartolini upgrade you might be interested in.
Thanks Peter - is a bit of a fun having a guitar amp in the mix, can dial in some guitar-y driven tones, while keeping the lows (and attack) of the bass.
Havn't got a octave up...yet. The synth patch is rather aggressive (at least the bow wave form I'm using) and is rather overpowering. The GT-6B has a harmonist sim which can do a octave up, but it doesn't seem to be tracking well - I need to experiment with different overdrive + octave up combo (half the fun is figuring out the order of fx on the GT-6B).
Yip, that's a Mk1 Curbow (mighty mite)- well spotted! Sooooo you have a spare bartelloni pup...very interested! I almost bought another Curbow w/the bartelloni but the neck looked like a rollercoaster. I did a little reading about a swop - though I wasn't sure if I had to swop out the preamp as well?
