As usual it's not really NGD. I've had it for a week. But it took a white to bother taking a decent pic.

It's a 1997 'crafted-in-Japan' (made by Tokai most likely) Fender Jazzmaster. Sunburst. 3 piece alder body. What tipped it for me was that the pickups were already replaced with Fender custom shop Jazzmaster pickups. Now Japanese Jazzmasters used what were basically Strat pickups in a Jazzmaster cover. When I realised I wouldn't have to fork out for new pickups, I pounced.

This thing is wonderfully lively and gives me a rich range of tones that will complement the other guitar player beautifully in our surf-rock outfit.



Oh yes, the floating trem is just lush
