Dewald Visser handmade boutique distortion pedal (FAT LADY)

I visited good friend of mine, Dewald Visser, this past weekend, for him to service some vintage valve amps I had.

When I arrived I discovered the following stompbox at his home.

Hand made by Dewald himself. It's called FAT LADY.

(Note: these were just recorded using a cellphone. Pedal is running through a Marshall MG250DFX. We might do a proper demo/recording of the pedal at a later stage.)

Slight boost and clipping from the pedal after engaged.

The pedal responds well to picking dynamics. Pick softly and the tone is clean. Dig in a bit and create the dirt.

Even works when player is smoking. Very dirty sound.

Even works for bass guitar.

Blues tones.

More bass.

The pedal goes from slight overdrive to quite high gain fuzz sound.
