Hey Everyone.
Glad to be on here. My wife came across a Cort acoustic guitar for R450, previous owner played it once. So Christmas present was sorted and came with guitar lessons. So far have had 4 lessons and enjoying it so much. Totally a newbie, so hope to learn a lot from you all as well.
My background in music family wise. My family very musical. Uncle is from the band 4 Jacks and a Jill. Grandfather was an opera singer and my gran taught me the piano, from a young age. yet i can't read music so i play by ear and sight.
In case anyone wondering my username is my actual name. Folks were big Elvis fans and i was born the day he died. So the middle name stuck. Have also been to Graceland which was awesome and got to be in Memphis while the Memphis in May musical festival was on last year in Beale Street. Truly an amazing experience.
So as far as musical influences. Really enjoy the Blues and Rock.
If i had plenty money what concert would i not want to miss, if i could go back in a time machine to the day after my birthday
