Can anybody please help me with some info on this mixer. I got it without the outboard power supply and I need to build one for it. At the back it states the voltages at +18 and -18 as well as 48 volt for the phantom power and 6 v ac and 12 v dc. The plug is a 16 pin round plug with a male plug. I opened the deck to trace the voltages. So far i worked out that I need 2 lines of voltages for the 4558 chips (+-18v) How much m/amp do I need? Can any one help with a schematic? I cant find any info on google. I suppose there`s no chance of a outboard power supply for a mixer laying in somebody`s garage. If I dont ask I`ll never know. Thanx

If I were you I would severely overdimension the power supply, so you don't actually need to know the current it draws. Why not assume 3A on both 18V rails, 1A for phantom (unless you are going to use lots of tube condenser mics) and 4A for the others - having separate transformers will help. The amount you lose if any of these is far too much you will get back in sound quality.

Thanx for that. I will use separate power transformers. The power supply will be bulky and heavy but I dont mind as I wont be transporting the mixer( too heavy)
