Good people of the Sound Table

Do we have an Official importer for Strymon pedals, or is this also one of those 'Do It Yerself' import jobbies ?

Thanks to all.
I believe the official distributor is/was TI Distribution.

Looking at their website they no longer mention Strymon, so perhaps that relationship is no longer ongoing.

You can try contacting Matthew Eales, who has been most helpful in my past experiences.

If they were the agent previously (I am pretty certain that they were, but I could be wrong) then they could possibly have some old stock available (They did with the Wyres strings, but I bought all of those ?).

      Hey Stoner Riff!

A while back, Stuart Goodwin had a Strymon pedal for sale on SA Music Store, a Facebook group. I know he works at Marshall Music Woodmead, and maybe it's worth phoning the guys to check if they import them.
Thank you very much guys . . . keep 'em coming !
TI Distribution yes. Unless something has changed.
Marshall Music charge a hefty premium.
In which case, you're better off importing yourself. Especially at the current exchange rate. ☹

            Many thanks Norman !
honestly, if you have a friend in the states, many second hand strymons on TGP and the like. they won't normally sell to Saffers though, so best to try wangle one like that.

                Hey,

I bought straight from Strymon in the US. They sell directly to countries that don't have an official distributor (like us).
You can just order through their website.

                      Oh yes they do 8)

The Deco & El Cap is on my radar for now.

Yes, you can get it straight from Strymon.
Have you seen the exchange rate though?
Not to mention, shipping is added on top, And your VAT charge from customs when it lands.
Musicmadness still has stock though, but for how long, who knows.
Either way, what cost me just over R3k a few years ago, all included, will now cost more than R6550.
                        Good luck.

                          OUCH . . . . over 6K for a pedal ☹

I am very familiar with all these import stuff, as i use this site (see below) at least once a year, so i know about all the ''extras'' that is involved with importing.

                          . . . but still, 6K+ for a pedal ?

Jip, and it's only going to get worse.
I'm too scared to update my insurance because of this. :'(
