• Please help identify which model strat this is

Hi guys Working on a 2005 USA strat, I just can't figure which model it is..... Of particular interest are the pups: Uneven staggered poles Bridge 5.9k Mid 4.8k Neck 5.9k Middle pup is not RWRP ! I'm also intrigued by the low output/value of the pups 9.5" radius fingerboard 6 point trem, with vintage bent steel saddles, and a big block Burst colouring, thin matt finish, Rosewood fretboard Serial Z5025211 2005 in the Corona plant

Is it not a Highway 1, Dave?

Yeah, I forgot about highway 1's!
Thanks guys

Rowen, you may be right about it being a Hwy 1, pre 2006 upgrade.
When I first opened it up, it had a greasebucket tone mod, which I thought had been retro fitted, as the soldering job was worse than a 3 year old. I removed that, but noticing that the tone pots are Alpha and not CTS, perhaps these pots needed to be replaced and then the greasebucket circuitry was reconnected (by somebody not qualified)

I've emailed fender, and hope they can shed some light ....

Will let y'all know

Within 6 hours i had their response . . . .wow ? what service !
Check out what they sent .....
