Anyone used the harmonic converger with a Boss GT-8 (or other Boss multi-effect units)? Currently I use the pedal with stompbox distortion/overdrive pedals. I want to use only the GT-8.
I read that the HC removes fizz and warms up the amp models. Does it help with the overdrive/distortion effects as well? The latter without using the amp models. Straight into the amp?
PS: The band I play with now requires that I switch sounds on the fly as opposed to just using "my sound". Alternative is I ditch the Boss and get a Line 6 HD500 but that's gonna cost a bit...
