Hi guys

I have a big favour to ask. I accidentally started formatting my friend's BR600 (that he has since sold) SD card with an MSDOS FAT-16 file system and so the device can't find the tracks.

I cloned the card and can see the "BOSS BR0 Format ARRANGE" etc files (using a hex viewer), but they go undetected by the device and of course the BR to WAV converter sees the card as invalid.

I read it uses the Fugue file system, but neither the developers nor Roland has any information on the file system and file headers, so I would like to try replicate it to extract the tracks.

I therefore need a sample card. Would anyone be willing to send me an image of a card (without their tracks of course)? I will gladly supply it.

Does anyone know of a better solution? I will document the process regardless of the outcome to help anyone with a similar problem.

Thank you very much in advance.

Ed
The better solution is to link the BR600 to a PC through USB and use either the Roland software or third-party stuff that is on the net. One of the forum members has actually made a few very nice Youtube videos on howto BR, check them out as well. Please don't bugger around with card readers ?
      Thank you Gearhead!

The problem is he sold the BR600 so I don't have access to one. I'll have a look at the videos.

      Cheers,
      Ed
