Am looking for a luthier in Gauteng area who can replace a fret board on an ancient Fender P bass. Will require re-fretting as well.

Anyone had this done with good result or can send me a recommendation ?

I've seen good things posted about the Fret shop and Grant Fouche on SA Music group.

Good thing it ain't a J-Bass - I'd have to fly up and drool all over it ?
