August Mini Challenge [VOTE]

Really impressed guys. I put you all in the same group, because I feel these challenges are less about voting, and more about developing and improving as a guitarist/musician. And to be honest, unless you are Andy McKee (go Google), then there is no need to separate categories. I recorded using my ESP LTD M-10 on a Behringer GM 108 via Rocksmith Realtone Cable and Audacity. I think Siembamba refers to a Fiskaal but I may be mistaken. I loved it so much and, once I got into metal, I always wanted to turn some old nursery rhymes into metal numbers. Well I finally did that. I recorded this on my BR-600. Bounced it to 1 track and manually did the panning with the sliders. It was very easy but it doesn't come out too clear. Need to practise that I suppose but I didn't wanna miss the deadline. You can add vocals to the challenge if you want. But I do not think I will be able to do that. I can barely play my instrument... ?

Ahh, vox was always a "free" track in challenges past - and completely optional!!! Not sure why it was regarded as a free track, but I like the fact that it is. I've "cheated" a few times in the past and used vocal samples - or recorded a vocal & used loads of fx on the vocal track to make something melodic (I can't sing at all) - it's fun & adds creativity to the mix.

Adrian said he'll put it up next week - just throwing some idea's out there and seeing what sticks.

Looking forward to this. Trying to keep it simple and uncomplicated. Ha! scrapped 9 takes on ideas >☹

Mini challenge. 1min is quite long I think. Its bordering on a normal challenge. But I think 2 guitar tracks is fair.
