Rocksmith 2014 - this is annoying

So...I signed up with cheapshark to let me know when Rocksmith 2014 went on sale again... I got a mail last night "Rocksmith 2014" $9.99.. wOOOOHOOOOO.

Then I clicked the link and ended up on this page:

"PRODUCT NOT AVAILABLE IN YOUR COUNTRY" >☹ >☹ >☹ >☹

I'm wondering if I can use a VPN service to buy and download it... R100 isn't TOO much to risk on it...

As long as it's not a steam key it should work. If it is you'll have no luck as Steam is region locked.

Well...I gambled my R135 by using a VPN to buy the game.
It activated on steam and is busy downloading.
So I'll see what happens when the 6gb download is finished.

I am still struggling with the settings. Have a bit of crackling and my videos aren't playing that well. Getting closer though. Maybe a good excuse to get a new PC?

Can you tell me what vpn you used? Tried to use Chrome plugin Hola but no luck.

I used slick vpn. Then I used UK inside the vpn app. It worked...I loaded up the game last night quick and created my user profile inside the game. ? ?

Yes yes...in fact it did! I just got done jamming along with "pour some sugar on me" and "paint it black ". No need for the vpn once you've got the steam key. You can probably use a free vpn, but I paid $3 for 4 days worth of slick vpn.

FYI...the special ends in just over a day.

I already had the cable from the older rocksmith I had for Xbox 360.

Takealot.com sells it for R316 including shipping. I thought that was quite reasonable.
