Were any of you GFSA'ers at the Protest the Hero gig this last weekend (and wee before for Joburg)
Anyone at the Klein Libertas show?
What were your guys thoughts?
They are technically ridiculously good and pulled that off perfectly live. Also showmanship scores a top point...
Negatives for me was the sound - it wasn't as tight as the band, and very loud but at the same time hard to hear what was going on.
Also - the place was way too packed... they should have found a bigger venue or used the outdoor stage!
My band Ohgod! had the great opportunity of opening up for Protest which was awesome! 8) we played a short, nerve filled, but pretty tight set (so i hear) - and got some good feedback from the crowd, as well as some of the guys from Protest who watched from the side.
