Just another Bass amp or ?

Stumbled across Trickfish Amplification

Strictly for bass players and wonder how good they sound as they approach EQ slightly different. No earthshattering looks rather modest I think but then we know looks are deceiving sometimes. Wouldn't mind having a go at the Bulkead 1K with a 2 x 10 for smaller venues and either adding a 1 x 15 or go for the 4 x 10 for larger venues. If more volume is required I think the PA would have to take care of that, after all the days of thousands of Watts of power on stage would take us back a few decades. 1K of Watts for the Bulkhead 1K amp seems a lot already.
Anyone ever used one of these ?

Scott from Scott's Bass Lessons had a review of one a while back if I'm not mistaken. He really liked it. That's all I can remember of TrickFish.

You won't find these amps in SA in a hurry... if ever. Problem is that you will have to bring it in from the States yourself and by the time it lands here you may as well have settled for a GK, Markbass, TC or similar lightweight head (new or used). Also it may not satisfy your sound expectations unless you can at least try it before you buy it.
