thought i'd post up here guys and hear what the rest of ya think about the new apple watch/smartwatch coming out ?
i might be wrong but i seem to hear alot of skepticism, not from samsung users, but from dedicated iphone devotees who see it as a bit of a useless/pointless product line addition.

For me, I think it's overpriced and underspec'd. If it had it's own GPS, and could do some thinking without being tied to an iPhone, it might be attractive. But I don't think I'm the target market. I'd be more likely to get a Garmin sports watch for running, and look at my phone to see my messages.
Having said that, the first gen iPhone and first gen Macbook Air were pretty rubbish too. Let's look again in 18 months time.

I wait for it untill it can "beam me up" to a better world as this one is in a bad state.
And I suppose it comes with a magnifying glass to read your emails ? or maybe it has a built-in projector so you can read all on a wall ? Maybe it reads out your emails ? Now here some idea's I will put in my watch, any buyers out there ?
And USD10,000 and I still need an I-phone ? that's USD11,000 together, I doubt anyone in this country will want to walk around with this. We musicians should rather spend that money on gear you can buy a hell-f-a US Strat or in my case a JB for that price ? ?
