I grabbed this beaut from a pawn shop yesterday for an unbelievable R1000.00! It’s a 1983 Japanese made Aria Pro II CS 350. It has a switch that splits the humbuckers into single coils and a switch that reverses the phasing! The picks still sound great and the finish is pristine.
The nut needs replacing. The owner had put acoustic strings on it so he had to widen the grooves, also the part of the nut where the lower E string goes was chipped off and he cut another groove next to it (!) causing irregular string spacing. It has an orphan bridge saddle for the upper E string. I don’t know if I will be able to find an original spare since it’s such an old guitar and the saddles are the rare offset type. I guess I will just have to put in a new whole set. Otherwise it’s in very good shape. (I dread taking off that sticker in case I scratch the finish!)

Nice find. With a nice bone or Graphtech nut, This could be a decent guitar! Enjoy!

G!
Get some methylated spirits at the pharmacy to dissolve sticker glue - gets em every time
I'm going to do that, thanks!
