TJ's hold their monthly open mic night at the Ladies Bar at Marks Park on Thursday 26th
* No need to audition or pre-book - it's an open mic night.
* You can play covers or originals, you can play instrumentals, you can play folk or flamenco, pop or jazz. You can sing a capela.
* We don't accommodate pre-recorded backing tracks.
* Your level of expertise and experience doesn't matter. You just have to want to get up and play.
* Performance slots are usually 15 minutes, but if the evening is heavily subscribed we may impose a 3 song limit.
* TJ's provide a small PA with mics and leads for instruments.
Admission is R25 whether you are playing or not. We have to pay Marks Park for the room.There is plenty of off-street parking on the club grounds. Drinks may be ordered. Meals may be ordered - and the club has new caterers in doing a much improved job.First act goes on at 20:00. Doors open at 19:00. Get there early and get your name down.
