Studio monitors

Hi,

I am looking into getting a pair of studio monitors for home recording. Which ones can you recommend for an affordable price that will do the job? Im not looking for high end stuff. I just want something that will do a decent job.

I use these, for what I need theyre great.

I have a pair of M-Audio BX5s... affordable, relatively flat response. Does the job.

Anybody tried the Yamaha HS series? Not the cheapest but they're supposed to be really good budget monitors.

Have a look around for a good second hand deal. Keep your eyes posted on classifieds. Affordable is not the same for everyone. If you want better advice I suggest that you mention what your budget is.

The HS80's are good budget monitors. I haven't heard any of the others in the series.
