Do anyone maybe know who the distributor is of Sanchez Guitars?

By the time the "cheaper" guitar has been made vaguely playable the money spent could have just bought a real guitar anyway. Wedgewood, Sanchez etc. is going to cost a grand anyway. R500 + to sort of fix and you could have had an entry level Cort, Stagg, Palmer, Levin or whatever. Not great but at least playable and worth something used.

True true...I do however suspect that the work might be done by the shop themselves and not be billed to the client... not 100% sure... depending if one could strike a deal with the supplier to send back guitars that can not be setup or gotten playable relatively easily. That's what I would do. I am guess ajdebeer wouldn't be ordering a whackload of these sanchez guitars. And there are lulls in busyness in retail where one could spend the time filing down sharp fret ends etc...

My son started playing guitar and I got him a cheapy. 3 months down the line, he decided soccer was more fun. If I had spent R4k on a corner decoration I would be an idiot. R300 guitar, no harm no foul.

They have guitars for cheap that only have 1 pickup but at least its ok quality.

I started off on a R350 starfire acoustic guitar... But the passion inside me drove me to improve and work at it!
I'm of the opinion that you gotta work for it baby! lol.
