We were down since 9pm last night but I had no idea!
Sorry about that guys. I go to bed at 9pm and got no notification this morning except when I checked my email and saw a gazillion notifications there.
To prevent this from happening in future:
1. I'm moving from Pingdom.com to UptimeRobot.com for monitoring. UptimeRobot has served me well with my other sites.
2. I've set up a scheduled program on the server that looks for the specific error we've been getting lately and restarts the server if it finds it.
That should help a lot.

Another huge downtime today. I had no signal so couldn't fix it.
I've put further measures in place to try and fix this automatically.
Let's see if that works?
