Hey guys, recently modded my Blackstar HT-1R to make it a 1x12 combo amp and started messing around recording it. In the end I wrote a song and here it is, let me know what you think:

Nice one - showcasing some tasteful song writing skills!

Got the U2 vibes almost immediately - then saw the track info ?

Only feedback from me, I found some of the vocal phrasing a little abrupt - but I mention that as a listener, not having any singing skills worth mentioning.
      Thanks guys ?

Yeah V8 im not really a singer myself, though I think my singing is improving...

I must say, EZ Drummer is really easy to use!

For what it's worth you are -ahem- light-years ahead of me ?

Perhaps you've seen (or done) the free Coursera Berklee online courses? I rather enjoyed the Pat Pattison songwriting one earlier this year, part of it was checking out this set of vids on vocal/lyric phrasing - he made some subtle changes, which (imo) had a big impact.

          Nice one

On modding yr HT1R to a 12inch, why and how you go about it.

I have a HT1R, absolutely love it whether with single coils or humbuckers....never thought of using a larger speaker though. was it worth it?
Will post a thread about the mod. I much prefer the HT-1R with a 12 inch speaker. I find with the 8 inch theres just no bottom end to it and when I kick in a second overdrive I can't notice any volume increase, only more saturation, the bigger speaker helps with that.

@V8 I started that course but never finished...I have saved the vids though, will definitely give it a look, that difference is pretty epic, and such simple changes too!
