Haha) I was playing into my Line 6 floorpod with one side going to the amp for monitoring and the other into my line in on the puter. Some delay and phaser I think on the rythm. Dunno what I did to be honest, just had fun on this department. That's it! Sacredieu! Finally winning a challenge and being able to choose a topic myself, I thought I had home court advantage and would go down in GFSA annals as the one to trump you two weeks in a row! Yet another of my plans that gang so oft agley...

P.S If you or anyone else has a suggestion for next weeks topic I would appreciate suggestions as it is my turn to pick again.

I don't suppose "flamenco tinged rock" or "furious fingerpicking" would get the nod?

Some suggestions if I may:

1950's Rock (like Paul McCartney's Live at the Cavern Club)
Zep goes to Algeria (modelled on Jimmy Page/Robert Plant's Unleaded show with the Algerian/Egyptian musicians)
Zep goes to Africa! (same as above, with an African theme)
Floyd in Space (...we can leave that to everyone's imaginations!)
Harmonics (be as creative as possible with harmonics)
Guitar only (use the guitar only, for percussion, bass, everything...Alan would do well in this!)
Guitar for Cartoons (inspired by something I heard this weekend: a piece called Chicken Licken's Last Ride by Adrian Legg, a crazy fingerpicking thing...also for Alan!)

That's also a good one! A Rock/Metal Ballad theme could also be nice.

I'm a bit embarrassed to suggest all these topics, not having entered before and not having managed to complete one recording up to this point...see it as an attempt at contributing ideas, and not as me trying to be a wise guy... :-[

Wait does this mean I'm a guitar player now? Even if just a little? Haha..I wish.

I still don't know how this happened, I've got two of the votes now accounted for but the other 3 remains a mystery. Thanks guys, even if they were just sympathy votes. I needed something to keep me motivated. Maybe the new Fender has some sort of special power? Like Melvin? Guess I'll have to use it everytime for these things. 8) Well done again to everyone! They were all incredible!
