I'm not sure what I'm supposed to say? Other than sorry for punishing everyone that actually listen to this thing. :-[ I don't think I got quite the topic either, but I did imagine myself on a train with a guitar thinking...what would Rudolf do? LOL
So my entry into Ubernoob catagory for "Make the train come to a complete stop and get chucked off":

3 Tracks:
1) Cort MR710 doing what I call a rythm portion which was supposed to be the core of the whole thing.
2) Newly aquired Fender '72 thingy strat doing a single note and slide thingy. I tried some palm muting on the start also, note tried!
3) Fender doing the Tom Morello thing, don't know what you call it. A sort of turntable like vinyl scratching sound doing the chuck a chuck in the background. (No it's not recording noise, that was me! Haha)
I was playing into my Line 6 floorpod with one side going to the amp for monitoring and the other into my line in on the puter. Some delay and phaser I think on the rythm. Dunno what I did to be honest, just had fun on this department.
That's it! Taking one for the team. :goodtimes:

Here's my entry for this weeks competition.
Advanced class (as elected by a jury of my peers)
Was a little trickier than I thought, hit a bit of a mental block but realized I was trying to be too complex for my own talent - KISS.

Same old story:
Leaf drums loops @ 110bpm
Squier Strat through a 505II - clean
Squier Strat through a 505II - distortion

This week, in honour of the old masters Robert Johnson, Lightnin Hopkins, Blind Boy Fuller , et al I did these 2 tracks and just one take each. My lead was crackling a bit on one of the takes but I thought to hell with it those boys only had one chance to recording right there was no going back and dong it again. So why should I be different.
