I'm working on seeing how close I can get to the album version, so far I've just gone for the overall sound, next I'll work on individual pieces and levels and try play it like the original and see just how close I can get it.

It's programmed drums from guitar pro into the Slate Black Kit and some Amp Sims:

I'll work on it more soon
    Spookily accurate! ???

Drum sound keeps changing though? From 0:09 it sounds exactly right.

What amps, IRs and effects did you use on the amp sims? Did you do it by ear, download patches or recreate the actual rigs used on the album?

It a nice experiment but make some more originals! That last 8-string one was frikkin brilliant! ?
That guitar tone is spot on. I too would like to know how you stumbled upon such a sweet replica. I spend days and months fine tuning guitar rig to get tones right. Always looking for tip and advice hahaha. Look forward to hearing what you come up with too. Metallica4life ?
Damn dude....that guitar sound...please share how you managed that.. Very nicely done
The drum sound swaps between the original and mine, still need to work on it all a lot though, their hihat is somewhat to the right and mine is panned hard left etc.

The guitars are the free Lepou Lecto (Mesa Boogie) sim and there's some Metallica IR's floating around: http://richardcookson.co.uk/Tattva/

A lot of eq and back and forth etc so far.

I'll work on it more on Sunday and post the new improved, hopefully closer, version.
