Found him on eMusic and I find his music to lack melody and structure, favouring flashiness and boring noodling instead. Am I being unfair or is this the general consensus?

Blues saraceno norio ? If it is him, he studied from your great inspiration .... satch. But not be a doos or anything, i dont like his music at all ....

Yup, Blues Saraceno. I'm also not much of a fan. Especially when you're used to listening to Timmons and Satch, you really miss the melody in Saraceno's songs.

Look saraceno is very technical, but he is one of those guys that try and be too technical. Much like some of Vais songs. The difference is, vai always finds a way to incorporate melodies and harmonies into his playing.

I'm totally with you and agree 100%. I'm going to keep listening to his stuff, though, and see if I can pick anything cool up from his style.

Turns out that Blues Saraceno is a bit of an acquired taste. He's growing on me fast!
Very nice rock n roll playing. Not very emotional but then rock n roll doesn't need to be -- it just needs to be fun.
I would place him in the Vai category, keeping in mind that every now and again Vai brings out an absolutely AMAZING ballad which this guy doesn't seem to do at all.
Very nice player. Check him out if you like Vai.
