Eight isolated output sections (taps), configured as ten outputs. If you look the last four outputs are basically two pairs and each pair is isolated, but the two outputs within the pair are shared. Those are the high power outs that have double the amperage of the other outputs and are switchable to 12V. So you can plug in one high power pedal to get the full amperage or two pedals to share.
Isolation is ideal, but not
always necessary - many pedals will happily live together on the same power output. But having a few isolated outputs limits your chances of problems (or allows you to shift things around to get rid of problems). My last big board had a DC-10 and I had three pedals running from the first output with no problems. I also had a NovaDrive and a Timefactor on the two high power taps and was not using the second shared out on each of those taps.
