One of my bass 'comrades' and friend (from a UK based Bass forum for many years) does a good deal of the reviewing for this magazine. He mainly concentrates on the bass gear, and owns one of the most lurrrrrvly 7 string basses I've seen, made by the same guy who made my main bass. I had a quick go on his bass (nicknamed the doodle) in the luthiers workshop, before Dan got his hands on it, and it was something else! One heck of a player too!

I've always been impressed by the quality of the finished article with this magazine, though I seldom manage to make it through an entire issue. Much easier with the real thing on paper in front of you, albeit without the sounds and video, but anyways..... Enjoy!
