V8 Blues Brother wrote RIP Brother, such a sad day ☹ http://consequenceofsound.net/2014/07/r-i-p-johnny-winter-blues-legend-dead-at-70/ +1, there'll be a whisky raised in his honour this evening for sure.
singemonkey Ah nuts. He didn't seem well though. What a freakin' amazing player and musician generally.
Chabenda RIP Johnny - an amazing player and one heck of a producer! Muddy Water's 'King Bee' album, where Johnny played guitar and produced the record is one of my all time favourites. A real Legend.
Gearhead +1 I guess Abraham will have some words to say to Mr. Winter behing the Pearly Gates about the casual language he's portrayed to have used in Route 66. I personally never believed Abe to have addressed the Lord saying "man, you must be puttin' me on." ?
