That's a fine looking guitar Wantzchas. I really wouldn't care what anyone else thinks. She could live in my arms anyday. ?

Thanks a lot Mojo, you've pretty much answered all I asked and given me insightful info. The only other things I'd still like to know is what current S-series is similar to the 540S in terms of specs? And where will I find this Carnuba Wax? Hardware store?
I have the tremolo arm with the nylon crommets. R3500 is what I paid for it, so in my opinion a very good buy then.

I'm not 100% satisfied with action yet, my SA160 plays a bit easier UP TILL THE 15th FRET then the S540 just comes into it's own. So effortless to get sound out of high frets. I remembered always dissing Strats for the simple reason that everyone had one or something that looked like it until I one day played on a real American Strat then understood where quality begins. When playing on my S540 I experience that same feeling.
It really sounds good too. I'll upgrade the bridge humbucker one day I can get my hands on DiMarzio and have the money for it.

I won't do it myself, not at first anyway. I'll take it to a tech to do it for me.
