Decided to try out something "Nickelback" sounding mix wise, the drums and bass are from the guitar pro file, I played the guitars (badly....didn't really learn the parts properly) and the vocal is from the multitrack stems floating around.

It's not meant to be a "match" plus there's some cymbals missing from mine and whatnot.

Starts with the original then cuts to mine then the original etc etc:

    Sounds good. I must find the multi-tracks for all of these.

    The guitars in your mix are louder and have more punch (unless perceived loudness is deceiving me), but I think I prefer the tone of the original.
      I have some bad news ... it still sounds like Nickelback :roflmao:

      But all joking aside that is pretty impressive.
        The only thing that makes Nickelback listenable is the production, although only really on the last 2 albums (Dark Horse in particular).

        I think they have 4 guitar tracks, 2 doubling up the main riff higher up so it gives it a higher richer sound, I was just screwing around with this but I'll try that out and see how it goes.
