So, after leaving the guitar for a year or two I'm back in action. I have always wanted a Les Paul, so now is the time.

I decided to go with a Tokai LS105Q, and I'm certainly not sorry. The service from Lance was spectacular, and I am blown away by the tone and build quality.

Excuse the crappy cellphone pics, it was taken in the worst possible lighting conditions, and it doesn't do the guitar justice.

    Nice guitar Trubore!

The kind of guitar that you end up taking to bed with you (unless you are married of course - that type of behaviour is frowned upon heavily by the competition).
awesome, if you still have that Orange this must sound superlative through it
Unfortunately I don't have the Tiny Terror anymore. When I got married, I had to scale down alot, no cuddling with guitars anymore :?

I need to get a tube amp soon, but we still stay in a two bedroom flat. So something that can break up at low volume is a must.

I have one problem though, I can't put the guitar down. I've been playing some Gary Moore style ballad and the neck pickup makes me feel like a master, even though I am not. (yet)
Very, very nice. A pair of zebra humbuckers would really pop with that colour. Enjoy.
            Stunning LP...... Congrats! :goodtimes:

Nice. You need to get that thing up on a stage ?
Welcome back! I see my influence had a positive effect! We need to JAM!!

One thing with my Tokai (which I guess has the exact same PAF pups as this particular one) is that I have had absolutely no inkling to upgrade the pup's, there is absolutely no need to at this stage....the neck is absolutely smooth and the bridge can be tempered with the volume/tone control. the Tokai magic works for the pups too ?

Congrats!!! NIIIICE NIIIIIIIIIIIIIC guitar!!! I love em blue guitars ... I have an Epi LP that has a damaged neck that I am thinking of putting in a box frame and putting on the wall cos it's so pretty!
Happy New Tokai Day to you 8)

Of all the ones that you could choose from, why a blue model ?

                              Just curious !
Thanks for all the replies guys... I just love this guitar, it speaks/inspires me like no other guitar I've ever played. When improvising I play all kinds of new in between notes that I would never play on my strat. (still love my strat)

                                I just like the blue, I don't have a particular reason ?.

You don't need any other reason... hehehe.... from a fellow blue guitar liking person.
