Tamla Kahn had a great gig Sunday night at Rumours in the Wacken Battle!
We didn't go thru but it was great to have been at battle with SA's best!
I don't think we have ever sounded better frankly!

Having said that, I am absolutely convinced that the judges knew who was going thru before they even got there.
But Hell, that's how it goes. ?

I attended both Rumours events and I can confirm that ass was kicked by all the bands involved.

To be honest all the bands were good enough to play on a international stage. I would have had a hard time selecting a winner on the second event.

(Although I think Displeased Disfigurement were robbed the previous evening. Robbed I tell you robbed!!!!!!1!!)

Doubt whether it was recorded. These events are so chronologically controlled that one doesn't have the gall to approach the sound dudes and go, ' would you mind if......'.
The band that went through from our heat were in the battle last year, so yea, for them it was second time lucky.

In the pics you will see our stand in drummer, his name is Ruhan van der Walt, great guy great drummer and off the clock guitarist by the way as well. Did a great job under massive pressure to allow the band to get there in a limited time frame. Hats off.

Jono is out of hospital undergoing physical re-hab but is not in a position to re-join the band as of yet. we holding thumbs.

Now we relax! ?
