AWesome!! been waiting for this for a very long time!
I think i might start saving - good alternative to the G system don't you think… the FX inside the axefx are really stellar especially the verbs and delays.

Also being able to program scenes and unique FX chains, add automation etc on your computer is a really cool thing!

Any idea of what we looking at $$$??

Yeah, it's exactly that - competition for the G-System. No modelling, only effects. Unlike the G-Sys it has parallel chains and you can play with FX order, but doesn't have the external loops. Something tells me it's a fair bit more compact too.

Pricewise, Cliff hasn't given any hint other than "less than the AFX", but that's not saying much. Folks are guessing wildly, with most estimating between $1K and $1800 (plus a few overly optimistic types guessing below $1K, but no-one has any real idea. Taking the price of their MFC as a basis, I don't see it as at the lower end of the scale myself.

More from Cliff, following lots of wild speculation on exactly what this device is, does and should be:

The one thing people seem to be assuming is that we have no other products under development. In fact we have no less than six new products in active development.
This is awesome! I want this!

lol, that should keep certain folk at The Gear Page starting 20 new threads, a 1000 'bumps', 20,000 posts and a few years worth of free advertising. :?

Ja, but any really good product gets that.

...And without all the AxeFX threads, where would the toaster-heads be able to slag off the AFX or troll that it's not as good? ?

No Toaster-Heads or Rack-Heads are trolls...that accusation was invented by TGP Fractal paranoia, a common disease over there. ?
