Eh... I think I know the amp you talk about, it needs new pots mainly. The trouble was I couldn't find the solder-to-pcb type it needs, locally, at the time. The pots are different types as well, so step 1 is to desolder all and measure values. After replacing the pots, chances are it will be fine. If not, the only other thing is possibly the valve socket contacts. It would surprise me if it also needs new caps.
