How hard to recover head?

How hard is it to remove existing tolex and to recover a head? Do manufacturers typically glue the tolex on or is it just stretched over?

I would like to know what I am getting myself into....

It's glued, but is not difficult to remove and replace as long as you are the type. Especially with a head only. Just do your research and don't use a glue that sets too fast.
