Been on the lookout for a Les Paul for a long time, but never really found one in my budget (and new prices are just frightening). Spotted this one today and went and picked it up: nice guitar in decent condition (regular play wear), I think just a pickup swap is in order and I'll have a winner.

Of all the Gibson pick ups, it is pretty much only the 57 Classics that i like.
Love what the Alnico 2 mags do to a Les Paul.

IF it was my LP, i would get a Gold cover for the neck unit only (ala GOD, ermmm, Jimmy Page)
