Howzeet fellow six string shooters!
I'm a toppie already and I've been fiddling with guits all my life.
Mainly jamming around the fire side but also done a bit of recording and performing here and there over the years.
Been way too busy trying to survive and getting distracted by bad habbits, life, the universe and everything and not playing enough. Not a good thing.
I'm sure I'll enjoy this forum and hope to contribute where I can.
Peace, love and tjoonz!

Thanks but no thanks re the bass, a lefty would just confuse my two left hands...nevermind my fingers.

Right now after recently selling a '72 Tele Thinline, a early '90 LP Studio and a '52 Reissue Butterscotch Tele I still have the following:
An old ancient banged up Hohner acoustic for late night fire side jammin'
A Takamine GC3CE Nylon. Fantasfic sound and a fine guit.
Then a most amazing Dreadnought bought in some dingy shop near Heidelburg in Germany yonks ago which no-one has ever been able to ID with certainty. It almost looks like it could be a Levin but has absolutely no markings or serial numbers on it so I'm not sure. It has been hacked by someone who I think drilled holes in the soundboard for volume and tone dials that have been filled again and has an unknown huge block of a pickup in the soundhole. Bought it around 1989 for 50 DM when the exchange rate was about R1.30 to the DM.... (Score!)
Then there's the trusted '84 American Standard Strat which has been the workhorse. Had a few frets redone by Mervin Davis but other than that it's been a solid pleasure from day one.
And lastly a '93 Paul Reed Smith CE Bolt-on which is the king of all the instruments I've ever owned.
For the acoustics I use a BBE DI-100 through the PA. Best DI I've come across and if anybody has one spare I'll buy it off you one time.
Way back when I still gigged a bit I used a Fender Twin stocked with Groove Tubes for the electrics but due to reaching senior status and a back opp later I sold that and have been using a Fender Blues Jr. Great little amp.

That's my current stash but as you all know it's a bad habbit this guitar thang so I'm sort of glad I live out here in the sticks in the Klein Karoo far away from the temptations lurking in the shiny shops of the big smoke.
I guess my wife is too... ?
Nice selection of instruments. Quality rather than quantity. ?

Take it from me, that's no guarantee these days with online stores and credit cards as well as our classifieds and Gumtree (with an affordable courier).
