Voting ends at end of this month. Results will only show at end of voting. I'm trying something new . 1. G-Man Went for a Nirvana / Pixies type sound and ended up with this. https://soundcloud.com/graeme-messina/feb-2014-compo-final 2. Mixerboy Here's my entry for the competition. It's in the style/rippoff of new Alice In Chains https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/29399799/Alice%20In%20Brains.mp3 3. Adrian Rogowski To be honest, I need you all to know the details of this song before casting your vote. I had been working on this since December already. It was an on/off thing. For a very long while I wanted to do a Rage Against the Machine styled song, and then this competition came along, so the timing is perfect, but of course, it means I had the upper advantage. So please consider this as a factor. Also the track is definitely not 2 min. But I just want you all to hear it. I'm proud of it. The track features 2 excellent rappers - Brightly Clothed Boy (Josh Prinsloo) and Diff (Adrian van Wyk) https://soundcloud.com/fruitargeek/knocking-down-the-walls 4. doc-phil Breaking Benjamin - Voters can listen to the following track as a reference for the type of sound that I was going for: =http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztJirkY5AMw#ws https://soundcloud.com/doc-phil-3/02-2014-gfsa-alternative (old forum) Poll Results: You have 2 votes to use for the artist of your choice. I've FINALLY been able to listen to all the entries. With no internet at my house, its very difficult. But, wow wow wow is all I can say. I have never been as blown away by the level of entries than I have with this theme. But of course, there can only be 2 votes cast. Let me tell you who got my vote and why.

G-man
Yours was the first entry I heard, and man did you get the vibe right spot on. You really out did yourself with this one. I can hear both Nirvana and Pixies in this. It was amazing. My only 'gripe' is that there was a lot of repetition in the guitar parts where there could of been room for something more interesting. I did however go absolutely crazy for that part where you bought in the 'reverbed' guitar.

Mixerboy
Again, you absolutely hit the sound in every possible way. There is nothing stopping Alice in Chains from calling you to ask for the copyright in that song. I have no complaints, and for that you have my vote.

I don't really know Breaking Benjamin too well, so I had to listen to the YouTube clip first, and then I listend to your track. It sounded as if I never stopped the youtube vid. It was so accurate as to their sound, as well as the melodic riffs and strumming and just general tone you used. Everything was perfect, and for that, you got my vote!

A steller entry. Mixerboy, you know what to do - mail me your theme.

To everyone else - there are changes happening in the comp section, they are going a little slower than I would like due ot the fact that I don't have internet at my house and have to use work hours to do these things, but just be awaree, they will be happening.

Mixerboy
