Hi, I'm not sure whether this is the right place for this query, but nonetheless, I'm thinking of getting a 2nd hand Frontman and went to check it out today. All was well until I hit the low end quite hard, and the sound began to distort really badly. I had a look to see if a cone was loose/damaged, but couldn't really find anything. Any ideas what might be causing this? I don't want to shell out for something that can't be fixed.

Could be any one of a few dozen things.
Were you using the clean channel? What guitar were you using? Did you plug into input 1 or 2? How loud was it turned up? etc., etc., etc...
If it is a problem with the amp, move on. They pop up often and at very low prices, so not worth buying a faulty one.
