Hi guys, any of you know how much of a mish it is to add an LED to a crybaby? its something that really bothers me, cause i can hardly hear whats cracking on stage, is quite often during a gig i realise that my wah has been on in cocked position for the entire song.
Is there perhaps anyone you know around Cape Town or SA that could perform this procedure for me?

Lekker Guys thanks!

I asked the guy at Obz music about it ancd he said no problem he will do it for me...
Is there anything i should be concerned about, - or is it a really simple procedure where nothing can get damaged in the unit when an LED is added?
ALso has anyone here from CT dealt with the dude from Obz music in terms of fixing stuff?

These things are so rugged and the mod so uncomplicated, that I would suggest go for it (although I have never heard of the oke). The one thing you might pick up is a tic when switching on/off, so look out for that.

Cool i think its min risk... he said he would do it for R100 bucks ....
its a 535 Q so maybe slightly more complicated than the classic crybaby ( different voices and a boost) although i cant imagine there being that much more circuitry inside. ?

For R100 I'd go for it. If you bought a 3PDT switch (I assume he's putting one in) to install yourself it would cost you more than half of that already. Sounds like a good price to me. The more complicated circuit shouldn't make it any more difficult or risky to ad an LED to - switching is the same as far as I'm aware.

Even R200 sounds pretty good to me! I say go for it! knowing when your pedal is on or off makes a huge difference! Especially when monitoring isn't great.

Just last question!
Is there any risk to the sound and functionality of the wah by getting this guy (who i dont know from a bar of soap) to insert a LED??}(btw I have a 535Q, not a classic Crybaby)
Ill probably drop it off later or tomorrow...
