The latest TC Voicelive looks like a good one - a fullblown vocal effects unit, guitar effects unit and looper all in one (with a separate DSP chip for each). Effects from the toneprint series of pedals, 45 minutes of loop time and (something of a first for TC) dozens of amp sims. Basically an all-in-one for the singing player (guitar or keys).

Sweetwater lists the RRP as $1099 (street $800), so not completely overpriced either.

Basically, the only feature I can see that I don't like is a wall-wart PSU. Not as bad as the VoiceLive Rack having a wart, but still a minor annoyance.

This really looks like something that will suit my needs perfectly. Any idea if they've landed here so one can try it out?
Not yet - they aren't even in the US stores yet. Few months at least...

I am itching to try the TC Helicon Harmony singer. Much simpler than the above-mentioned, but seems adequate for what I need.

I have the VE-20 by Boss and I am not really impressed. Can't do half the harmonies I thought, and even with all effects off, still sounds echo-y (might be latency). Having to change the key of the song manually is also a con. Eventually took it out of the chain, and am recording my own harmonies.

Great as a live pedalboard effect that one - they've packed a lot in to a stomp sized box and haven't compromised on the quality.

TC-H have a really great range ATM.

Affordable, but never really impressed me - even on paper. Even the high end Digitech stuff sounds cheap compared to the Helicon stuff.

            Okay...got some loose moola.

Where can I go to test drive some of the tc elctronics stuff? ?
