Hey Guys, I'd been hearing about these pedals for a while, they showcased at NAMM and had a good response and will be a MESSE this year. They found Ashton Audio and we started chatting and I asked about construction, models, we chated pricing and then I bought in some samples, for the price they are amazing! They are based in China and what they've managed to do is pretty remarkable. Each of the enclosures are tiny, Hammond 1590A style, two of them side by side are around the size of Boss pedal. They are all clones of of standard pedals, bar the analog delay. So the ES-9 is a TS9, the Trouble Overdrive is an OCD and the Fuzz is a Big Muff Pi. Having compared them side by side I'm most impressed. The Big Muff doesn't have as low a low end as the NYC big box, but in the same territory. The ES-9 is spot on the TS9, but just not as much output level, but still plenty good and the Trouble is a great OCD clone. Obviously compromise has to be made to get them into such tiny enclosures. All the onboard components are SMD, but all of them feature Neutrik style jacks and are true-bypass. No space for a battery and several of the controls are on mini pots, much like the MI Audio stuff, best for set and forget style playing, but the small foot print, quality parts and price make them very attractive. Honestly I have no intention of going into the MI market, I'm too busy with the Pro Audio stuff, but much like I did with the Cioks kit, since I've established the contact I'd be willing to do a Group Buy, if Alan allows it? Agree! Give Matta money and pick up from DDR4LYF and pay him postage. Lot less admin for Matta too as he does not have to send a million individual pedals to JHB. I work in Sandton if anyone wants to pick up their pedals from me.

Cool beans! If anyone else wants to join in our Joburg order, just message Matta and let him know that you want your pedal to come up to Joburg with DDR's shipment. I will then organise that everyone gets their pedals and pays their dues for shipping. But pay Matta for the pedal (I think that part is pretty obvious!)!!!. !!!. I live in Randpark Ridge, if that matters at all to you!

Ok, so DDR has offered to be the JHB/PTA pick-up point, so unless you state otherwise and pay for additional shipping I'll be shipping all the pedals to him.

We are in the middle of the month already, I said I'm leaving it till month end, but to help me, and so that I'm not stuck with invoicing everyone at one, if you know what you want to order please send me the list via PM as well as your contact name & e-mail address so that I can send you an invoice.

Ok, thanks to those of you who have PM'd me your orders, several of you have expressed interest, but I've yet to receive a PM with your order, the deadline for payment is the 31st of Jan, will close the orders on 29th Jan, but would prefer to invoice as and when you are ready so that I'm not doing all the admin.

I'm game! Our timing should just be perfect, between work, gigging and a up coming holiday it might be difficult, but I don't mind you all jamming on my pedal before I pick it up.

Hi Guys,

Quick update, I've been unable to get onto the Forum for a couple days for some reason! The order is in, but I'm awaiting the proforma invoice, they've been delays between Chinese New Year and NAMM, but once I get the final invoice and pay it should take 2 weeks to get here, based on the sample order I bought it.

I've had a couple queries on the day and last minute RE orders, sadly I closed them on the 29th as I said I would and had already collated invoices, so if you've not received an invoice it means you're not in on this order, but I may do another one in the future if there is enough demand.

Likewise one or two of you asked for invoices, then they were left unpaid, you to have been left off the order, I can't run around after everyone following it up, so if I invoiced you and you paid, you're on the list for your pedals!

Just a quick update, the order came through and has been paid, it should ship out in the next day or two via DHL and if all goes well should clear customs by the middle of next week (holding thumbs!).

For the guys in JHB, we may have to consider courier, not sure when this postal strike is going to sort itself out... had a pedal posted in Durbs 2 weeks ago and it hasn't arrived yet...

Hi Guys,

The pedals arrived with DHL yesterday, delivered to me in the afternoon after I paid the duties and brokers fees and are now on route to Sean for the JHB/Pretoria orders, they should arrive tomorrow and the CPT orders are being collected from me.
