I really dislike Nickleback, and no it's not because of jealousy because there are lots of mainstream bands that I will happily admit are damn tight and amazing at what they do despite not liking their music, and it's not because things all sound the same, which they do, if you're familiar with how to break down and analyse music you very quickly realise doing one Nickelback song is basically like laying out the framework for their entire discography, and then to top it off they tour with and support bands that basically sound identical, take a look at their label mates Theory Of A Deadman:

But despite all that stuff that I could just ignore and sum up to Nickleback being a product, much like most everything else played on MTV, the thing I can't ignore is how angsty their lyrics are, these are a bunch of middle aged men whining like 16 year old girls, and I think they should really consider maturing past that crap...
