Start is a couple weeks away, thought I'd open the chat corner ? Got invited to join the official premiership fantasy league, apparently it's pretty low maintenance so I thought I'd also just create one for interested parties on GFSA. Sign up here if you're keen: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ League code: 862684-221726

Yeh, chuffed with that. Needed a striker though and another centre back, he'll have to do I 'spose. ?

Looks like Fellaini is a United player, he'll do well I reckon.

A bit underwhelmed with just Fellaini, especially as we could have got him cheaper for his release clause a few weeks ago...

But Ozil is quality, best movement I have ever seen in a player. Was disappointed when he went to Real and United didn't make a move, disappointed now. Still puzzles me how clubs leave it so late to try and do business (apparently United missed out on getting Coencetrao on loan because of sending through the paperwork late

Sakho to Liverpool ? What a great signing.
Seriously, with Coutinho and Sturridge, Sakho and Toure arriving in the last year and all for less than one mesut Ozil ?\

Ozil is great, but what a price! Sturridge at 12mil is still the buy of the year.

United were relying on number 12, the ref, for some extra time.

But yeah Liverpool got about 4 or 5 new guys that I know of... Even some of Chelsea's leftovers...

great to see LFC at the top of the BPL. But yes, early daysm, they;ve done that before, and fell to 6th that year. Hope they can keep this form. Will have to see. Also some other factors, Manu new manager, not what they were last year. Still no replacement for Giggs, Ferdinand, the old men? Chelsea, Mourinhou back, will he perform as with the previous camapign at CFC? mANc, ditto, new Manager, will be interesting, the top 3 teams from last season all have new Managers, will they be there this season? Excluding those, who has the biggest chance of winnint the BPL?

off topic...Belgium take another huge step towards brazil

Would be great to see them in the WC. It's really the start of a golden era for them with all the class players that have come through in the last few years and they really have a good chance of doing well if the best XI stays fit.

Croatia Belgium game should of been the crunch game,,thankfully it won't be as Croatia drew last night leaving Belgium 5 points clear with 2 games remaining...7 wins and a draw....against wales next in Belgium then away to Croatia which may end up a dead rubber anyway...hope so

Yeh, not the prettiest win but I'll take it.

Eish, United, eish! 35 minutes to go and there could be more carnage to come. Friggin Vidic is stuffing up my fantasy league, he's on negative points now.

Makes for an interesting season.... I see saints ahead of Man U on the league...good times

IceCreamMan

hehehehehehehe.....gotta laugh when the mighty fail....does not happen often

Long way to go ?

But gotta admit - losing to WBA was much, much worse than getting beaten by City and Liverpool - that was the kind of game Ferguson wouldn't have let United lose. Moyes is under even more pressure now... I never thought we'd win the league this season, but have to still finish top 3, non-negotiable

I agree ... NOT negotiable!!! I have no idea how DM is selecting his starting teams ..... the guy is clearly lost!!! (PTP) ?

ActionArnie

I feel really sorry for DM, it was really an almost no-win situation. If he'd done well he'd be regarded as simply leaving Fergie's team on auto-pilot. If the team had performed poorly he's compared directly with the greatest club manager of all time.

The comments about the fixtures list and such have not helped his cause however, he should've just kept his head down and got on with it.

Up the Baggies! One better than the 5-5 draw at the end of last season and the Albion really deserved the win. Kinda weird when the price paid for the Man U bench could buy all the Albion players, the Hawthorns and half of West Bromwich town!
