So... to all the flamenco bunnies here... how long does it take to get over the awkwardness of this technique? In particular the "ring-index" combo? I can sort of do the "middle-index" combo but not at a blistering speed like some mofo's on youtube. And the "ring-index" makes sense with the spacing (in a way) to get the strokes even. But goddammit does this technique frustrate me... Gimme some good news, pls

And thanks for answering honestly... I wonder if Conrad would give it a bash too. In my mind, anyone who says that this technique is easy has acid for breakfast and has a saddle for a unicorn

I've been working on it for a while. On and off though. It's definitely something that needs to practiced constantly. I never got it perfect though.

About 2 years of on/off practicing so far - I'm not fast or tight though :'(

I'm playing the long game, reckon I'll be hacking away for another 20 years. Just love the feel when I (rarely) manage to get it working.
