So I wanted to do some recording today. Plugged in my Ibanez amp, the power LED flashed, and then... nothing.

I haven't had a problem like this before with any amp, so I don't know what this could be. Tubes? Transformer?

I played a gig with it on Wednesday. Being the kind of guy I am, I let the tubes cool before putting it back in the car afterwards, and then allowed an extra hour before I drove with it in the car.

I haven't turned it on since. When I turn it off "standby" in the 5W setting, there is a hum that comes from the speaker, but this disappears as soon as I turn onto the 15W setting. I've tried different cables and power leads. I've tried my other amp from the same power outlet; works perfectly.

From other forums, such as this one: http://forum.ibanez.com/yaf_postst85395_-Update--Help-with-TSA15H--F6-fuse-keeps-failing.aspx , It sounds like the 500mA fuse is prone to blowing, and they are often replaced with 1,000mA fuses. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Where is the fuse on this thing?
Look at the fuse first. Take a look at the power receptacle (where the kettle plug plugs in) - there may be a little pull-out drawer built into it for the fuse.

Take careful note of the fuse rating (should be printed on the chassis, near the fuse). It will be different for different voltages, so you can't take what guys are saying on US forums (where the fuse will be half the voltage and double the amperage). Try replace the fuse first. If that blows, try replace the output valves. If it still blows, time to take it to a tech.

BTW - Always make sure to buy slow-blow fuses for amps - stops them going with every little voltage spike. Valve amps are not that sensitive that they need faster protection.

      What he said...
BUT... it looks like the fuses are not on the back...

it LOOKS like they are inside the grill on the top:

PS...I see you are in NorthCliff, JP is close by and he'll be able to help you if you don't come right.
Those do look like fuses under the grill, but really? What an awfully placed fuse. I have one of these heads, never needed to locate the fuse tho. I've had other Ibanez tube amps and they have all had the fuse sensibly located at the receptacle.
myself an another forumite (tr3bl3) had similar issues right at the launch of these amps. TOMS took em back an a week later we had fully working amps which never failed again. If still under warranty takie it back. If not ,take it to TOMS anyway as there were some that were prone to failure. Maybe yours has the same dilemma.

          Good luck

          cheers
