Im thinking about getting a fender strat 57 re-issue..I have the serial number as V165719 Anyone can tell me the year model of this guitar..and maybe what the worth??

I can't help, but if you email Fender the serial number, they will send you the details. Then compare that to what they go for in the US and adjust for the SA market accordingly.

Hi Owen, as Reinhard said, the best way of finding more info on that guitar would be to email Fender. The guitar dater cant give info on Vintage series serial numbers.
